Prolifics Wins Two Prestigious 2010 IBM Lotus Awards for Their Outstanding Portal Expertise
Prolifics Attends Lotusphere 2010 in Orlando, Florida to Receive Awards and Launch
“Prolifics Dare” Challenge to Raise Money for LIVESTRONG
NEW YORK, New York - January 14, 2010 - Prolifics, the largest end-to-end systems integrators specializing in IBM technologies, has been awarded two IBM Lotus Awards for 2010.
The first award - “Best End-User Solution” – was given for Prolifics’ work on a global organization’s travel portal. The customer desired to differentiate themselves from other travel services, improve end user experience, minimize development costs, and further establish their leadership position in the industry. Building on the initial success, this travel portal is being extended to mobile portal devices and will soon include social networking elements — travel communities, blogs, and more.
The second award – “Best Industry Solution” – was given to Prolifics for their unique and innovative Legal Information System (LIS) Accelerator solution. The LIS Accelerator is a custom portal solution that provides attorneys and support staff in legal departments and law firms with the ability to find and collaborate with other attorneys online, look up all the documents related to a particular client, and manage status and workflow of ongoing projects.
The IBM Lotus Awards recognize exceptional IBM PartnerWorld members that specialize in Lotus software solutions and have excelled at providing quality products, innovative solutions and superior services to customers. For the 2010 Lotus Awards, hundreds of applications were received from more than 30 countries around the world. Chosen from several hundred eligible business partners, Prolifics will be honored at the 2010 IBM Lotusphere Conference on Sunday, January 17th.
During Lotusphere, Prolifics, in the true spirit of collaboration, will be encouraging attendees to take the “Prolifics Dare.” Prolifics Dare encourages attendees to tweet a picture of themselves at the event with the hashtag #prolificsdare. For each tweet posted, Prolifics will make a $1 donation to LIVESTRONG. When the number of tweets hits 1,000 – Prolifics will double their contribution.
